I don’t speak Korean but when I hear people pronounce it it sounds like soru but my ears are also old. I don’t know if this matters because the rhyming in the Anglicized Seoul/soul is obvious. Maybe it matters. I’ll ask some people from Seoul.
I do know this, I got to draw a bunch of ghosties and that made my soul happy.
